Honey-Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

A delicious and easy-to-make slow cooker chicken dish with a sweet and savory honey-garlic sauce.

  • 6 Chicken thighs
    boneless, skinless
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
    low sodium
  • 4 cloves Garlic
    minced
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
    dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
    optional, for garnish
  • 2 Green onions
    sliced, for garnish
  1. Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, and vegetable oil.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken thighs from the slow cooker and set aside.
  6. Turn the slow cooker to high. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the sauce in the slow cooker.
  7. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  8. Return the chicken thighs to the slow cooker and coat with the sauce.
  9. Serve the chicken thighs hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
